Example Scenario

Bam Bam is a mid-sized dog weighing 10kg. He is on the acceptable weight range. He wants to try PetCubes' Gently-Cooked Duck. Hooman needs to feed him 6 cubes a day for his weight.

1st meal = 3 cubes
2nd meal = 3 cubes

Feeding Calculation Per Meal

Day 1-2:
25% PetCubes + 75% Old Food
25% of 3 Cubes = 60g or 3/4 of 1 cube

Day 3-4:
50% PetCubes + 50% Old Food
50% of 3 Cubes = 1.5 Cubes

Day 5-6:
75% PetCubes + 25% Old Food
75% of 3 Cubes = 1.5 Cubes = 180g or 2.25 Cubes

Day 7:
100% PetCubes
3 Cubes per meal

HOW TO TRANSITION

Start Slow

Begin by mixing 25% PetCubes with 75% of their current food for the first few days.

Gradually Increase

Move to 50%, then 75%, and finally 100% PetCubes. Go at your cat's pace for a smooth and healthy transition.

how to prepare petCubes

Feeding preparation is easy. Just move the portion you need from the freezer to the fridge the night before. Let it thaw slowly in a chilled environment, keeping the temperature at or below 4°C for food safety.
